Nandini has 20+ years of experience in business growth, scale and transformation internationally. Nandini commenced her career with Ernst & Young Management Consulting in Australasia. Subsequently in her 11 years with Corporate Executive Board (CEB), she undertook a number of diverse roles in multiple geographies. Highlights of her tenure included being Managing Director, Sales in North America, heading up the EMEA business as well as leading the India Office and the Global Key Accounts portfolio. She was promoted to Executive Director and was part of CEB’s Corporate Leadership Team responsible for formulating firm policy and strategy. Post CEB she was at Opower, where she was SVP and MD, tasked with building the EMEA business from scratch and supporting their successful Nasdaq IPO.
Nandini is our newly appointed Chief Operating Officer. She heads up the Procurement Leaders’ global membership business, a rapidly growing community of over 24,000 senior procurement professionals accessing intelligence, networking and professional development on a subscription based service

Christina Ooi

Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB)

Dr Christina Ooi is currently Head, Group Procurement, in Malaysia Airlines Berhad, responsible to drive world class world class procurement transformational leadership and efficiencies under its restructuring programme. She brings with her more than two decades of corporate management experience in various Asia Pacific regional senior positions. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, Procurement Management for a Malaysian telecommunication company for five years to spearhead its strategic procurement transformation. Christina was also in the IBM Corporation for 18.5 years where she held key local and Asia Pacific roles in Sourcing, Commodity/Category Management, Global Contracts Council, country management for Malaysia and Singapore, and as ASEAN/South Asia regional procurement manager. Her last stint in IBM Singapore saw her lead the procurement services practice for a global client across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Turkey, and South Africa. She was on the Asia Advisory Board of International Institute for Advanced Purchasing & Supply (IIAPS) for two years. Christina holds a Ph.D in Law from the University of Malaya, two Master degrees (LL.M and MBA), and two Bachelor degrees, Communication (Hons.), and LL.B (Hons.). Christina is also a certified Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya. She is a published author of her first book on talent management.

Jamal Chamariq

Jamal Chamariq holds the position of Senior Vice President Global Supply Chain at the Estee Lauder Companies. In that capacity, he has leadership responsibility for procurement of all capital expenditures, services and indirect goods. He joined Estee Lauder Companies in 2004. Before that he spent 16 years at Yves Rocher Inc. and was the Vice President Purchasing and Manufacturing for the Americas. He held a host of senior management positions in manufacturing, operations, distribution and direct and indirect procurement; and completed assignments in the U.S., Mexico, Venezuela, China and Europe. Jamal has an Industrial Engineering Degree and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Purchasing from MAI, Bordeaux, France.

Ernie is currently, the Group Head of Sourcing, where he is responsible for AIA Group’s sourcing and procure to pay (P2P) functions. In this role, he is responsible for streamlining and leveraging AIA’s total expenditure; maximize the value and manage the risk associated with the use of third party suppliers and service providers. He oversees the group’s business case/project approval process, the offshore finance shared services and P2P transformation projects, as well. He is also a member of the Customer Advisory Board for SAP Ariba.
Prior to joining AIA, he was the Regional Head of Procurement, Asia Pacific for Fidelity International based in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for Fidelity’s strategic sourcing and Procure-to-Pay function. Before that, he was the Regional Head, Global Sourcing for Deutsche Bank, and Vice President, Regional Commodities & Services, for Citigroup based in Singapore.
Ernie received his Masters of International Business degree from the University of Wollongong, Australia.

Qasim Hussain joined Kellogg as CPO Asia Pacific in Aug 2016 and is playing an active role in the continued transformation of the procurement organisation.
Qasim has almost 20 years of experience in the procurement industry. He has held senior roles covering various regions and categories in multinational companies such as Procter & Gamble and McCain Foods in Europe, Asia and Australia.

Karen Sutton

Karen has over 25 years’ experience within the sourcing, category management and outsourcing industries. Her experience spans technology, non-technology and insurance claims expense categories within the financial services, government and retails sectors.
She is currently leading the Technology Procurement and Partnerships team through the establishment of an end to end category management approach to Enterprise Services supplier/partner network.
Prior to this, Karen worked at Suncorp where she was responsible for the sourcing and category management of all personal and commercial insurance claims spend across all brands within the Suncorp Group. The areas of expenditure span the motor, property and services categories.
She was also based in Singapore for 3 years, while responsible for demand management and sourcing functions across both IT and non-IT categories including market data services. Karen was responsible for regional and country procurement teams and the establishment of a captive regional procurement operations function operating out of the Philippines.
